Sunset Junction 08.21.10 HybriDigital
Sunset Junction is proud to produce the 30th Anniversary of Silverlake’s beloved Sunset Junction Fair. The annual event was initially created to help ease tensions in the neighborhood, but has since grown largely in both attendance and scope. Revenue earned from the fair each year is invested right back into the community.The funds continue to help support programs designed to re-focus and educate at risk youth with comprehensive job training, soccer and sports programs, community beautification, art, safety and clean-up projects. To date, completed projects include 25 murals, after school sports and recreation programs, the Sunset Junction Soccer Club, job training, tree planting on Sunset Blvd., the building and maintenance of Triangle Park, painting murals for local businesses, ridding the area of graffiti, overall neighborhood clean-up and safety initiatives. They are joined on stage by WILDCHILDWORLD .. A collective of contortionists, aerialists, fire-breathing, freak-rocking clubkids from all over the world.
WILDCHILDWORLD - Classifiably a nocturnal creature, WildChild goes interplanetary, juxtaposing the limited, fleshy body with the limitless human imagination. His brilliantly costumed figure employs fire, dance, music, and contortion to deconstruct technology, sexuality, and the human form. With a surreal, alien flavor, his performance art creates an absolutely scandalous vision of delirium, hovering somewhere between the realms of sleep and wakefulness..

OUR NEW ALBUM
We are far from finished with her, but slowly shape is starting to take. The record will be a full length when it is finished, but we will leak some tunes for you, of course….
We also will not be able to do any lengthy tours in America or other countries until the record is finished or it will never get completed. Time is necessary for us to really buckle down and make sure this is the best we have to give.
The album is not titled yet, hopefully the perfect title will appear in a cool dream or maybe the postman will deliver it. Who knows? We do know that this will be a really driven and passionate record, and something you can take the top down to; or off or whatever you do with your top when you have your sunglasses on and something super fun is screaming in your ears.
